Housed and Hired!

As you may have read in the previous post I have had a few weeks of stress and worry in regards to jobs and living arrangements, however that has now all been sorted.  In fact it was sorted last Saturday after a sad departure from the Chilled Rd gang.  It was especially sad that I had to leave my roommate and the beautiful roof view that Tooting gave me.  So I took it upon myself to spend a good two hours standing on the roof watching a storm roll over and taking many photographs of all of the different cloud formations and colours.

Chilled Rd Views

As of today I have now spent a week in my new place.  I have also spent a week at my new place of work which is a company where I spent three months working for as a temporary staff member. WOOHOO for making good first impressions in order for a company to hire me for themselves!  So now I live in a house with half the people compared to Chilled Rd and a workplace where I'm familiar with most of the staff members.  I've had many late nights this past week simply staying out and talking to either flat mates or work mates.  Honestly, the interesting stuff I've learnt is unreal.  I spoke to one of my housemates for a good two hours and he had no idea what echidnas or capsicums were (until I explained them to him of course).  Also, he taught me a lot about politics and the royal family which is something I never thought I would be talking about.  Another one of the evenings I spent at an old pub named Ye Old Cheshire Cheese.  A bunch of workmates and myself went here to celebrate the sad event of one staff member leaving the company.  During this lovely evening, I realised how quirky and awesome London pubs were and I also realised that Bradford is somewhere I want to just sit and listen to all of the people that live there (PERFECT ACCENTS!).

My New Room at Night Time.
(I took this just now so it's very grainy from trying to expose too much)
Anyway, it's around midnight here so I apologise for how rough this post was!!  Here's a couple of pictures I took in the park this evening to make up for it.  Hope you all have a wonderful day today.
