It's The Little Things

I've now been living in London a little over five months, or rather 21 weeks and 1 day... but who's counting?  I've sacrificed a sister's 18th, a niece's 12th and a brother's 25th birthday.  I've deferred a year's worth of study (not that it really mattered as it wasn't something I was fully interested in and committed to) and I've left a bunch of really good friends waiting in agony at the mention of my returning to Australia.  Some days have been a bit of a struggle, and at times the days have been pretty breezy too, but I left Aus to fulfil my individualistic ways and I'll keep on fulfilling them until I'm finished (or sick of it)!

I've discovered that I'm more interested in photography than I thought I was however, I've also discovered that the rest of the world is too.  Which makes it a little difficult to be so passionate when I come to the realisation that everyone else seems more passionate about the topic than myself.  Yes, it may seem selfish in the way that I'm trying to capture a hobby and keep it for myself but hey isn't that what everyone wants?  Since moving to London I've also found that my appetite has gone hazy as this city is just spoilt for choice in terms of cuisine.  Therefore I've stuck to my one and only favourite food, chocolate.  Although chocolate is brilliant and perfect for every situation, it's also helped me gain 10kg since living here.  So, I recently joined a gym.  By recently, I mean literally two days ago (hopefully I can keep it up).

Here's a bunch of other stuff about London that I've come to the realisation of:
- When it comes to rude people and polite people, London has the extremes on both ends of the spectrum.
- There is literally so many activities happening in London that you can't actually keep up with it all.
- The only culture in London is their drinking culture (it disgusts me)!
- Most high streets and main streets have free wifi (cool, right?).
- Waiting 3 minutes or longer for a tube is an absolute outrage for us Londoners.
-  The sun is a magnet for all humans that live in London/England.
- Argos is the best store to have been invented, EVER!

On that note I'll leave you with a shaky photograph that I took in an underground station a few weeks back.  Unfortunately I haven't invested in a tripod yet and until then all of my long exposure work will be shaky.  I hope everyone's day has gone well and if you're on the other side of the world, I hope your day ahead is a bright and happy one!  Also, don't be afraid to leave me a comment on what you would like to hear from me next.
