A Month in NZ

After being home in Australia for a month I decided that I had a case of itchy feet, or more so my Aunt and Uncle had a case of the travel bug.  With them heading off to the big apple and me heading over to NZ to look after my cousins it seems the whole family shares a passion for travel.  No wonder we're all so restless when it comes to sitting still!

So, for the past few weeks I've been relaxing in a small, rural town in New Zealand named Oamaru.  Although a little, old place there's plenty of opportunities for me to take to the streets and take photos.  I've also had plenty of time to learn about and play around with photoshop which has been an absolute blast.  So far I've spent my time here happily, spending full days by the seaside eating lolly cake and sipping on fresh up.  Other days have been pretty hectic though with learning how to be a part-time mum and chauffeur.  All in all though it's just great to be here and hang out with my relatives as I don't often get that opportunity.  Here's some photos of the beautiful Oamaru...

On top of all of the adventuring I've been doing here in this wee town I've also had plenty of time to sit down and really focus on my studies/passion/career choice.  I've indefinitely decided that I want to get into a photography career in advertising however this decision is no doubt inclined to change over the next twelve months.  During these months I'm excited to let you all know that I will be fully engaged in my studies, learning as much as I can about photo imaging.  The knowledge that I'll come to understand is overwhelmingly exciting - I can't express how damn stoked I am to start studying!
