Love London, But Leave It Too

No one really tells you about the 'in between moments' when you move to a new city.  The moments where your new city isn't quite your home yet the excitement of being there has already worn off; the loneliness, the uncertainty and the little-bit-lost feeling.  At least that is how I remember feeling when I first moved to London.  There were days where I ended up at the end of a random tube line and days where I just stood in the middle of a high street wondering where I was... heck there were even days where I had to go to the nearest shop and ask them where exactly I had ended up.  After a few months though I had memorised the Northern line, become a regular at Costa Coffee and was practically an information guide standing outside of Oxford Circus station.  As soon as all of these things happened my confidence heightened and my pace quickened (hence the extremely fast London walk).
