Pondering Passions

I've been staring at a blank screen for quite some time now.  Every now and then I disregarded the blank screen by messaging my Mum back in Australia or chatting with my housemate about how London is making us tired people however, I kept on returning to a blinking line waiting for me to type something inspirational.

I had nothing.

That's when it dawned on me that I may in fact have no prospects in life and I might even possibly be very lost in the game that is named 'Life'.  Yes this may sound utterly depressing but then I had an after thought... isn't that what the majority of 20 something year olds feel like?  I'm damn well hoping that every 20 something year old answered yes in their heads just then.  If not, then my bet is that you're one of the lucky ones.  So while I spent one Friday afternoon alone in Hyde Park with the so-called-vermin (squirrels), I thought I might write out a list of my own passions just for some sort of future reference for myself.

Let's start with photography, it's definitely one big passion I have hence the blog.  If only I could become a little better at writing then I might just become a hit at this whole blogging thing.

Next up, teaching older people how to use technology.  I'm very patient with older people and I have a lot of respect for what they've done for our generation so I love to teach them how to use technology.  I especially love it because it tends to give me a couple of good giggles along the way.

Thirdly, taking care of animals is a complete joy!  I've always loved the idea of caring for animals or becoming a veterinary assistant but I've never actually looked into it.

Passion number four would be childminding.  Now I'm not a huge fan of looking after a bunch of kids in one go but I do have a terrible soft spot for looking after a couple of kids at one time.  Plus, every person I know has told me I'm good with kids.

Number five in the passion series is organising.  I absolutely love to organise things.  Especially when there's a calendar and colour coordination involved.

Lastly, I enjoy helping others/giving advice/comforting people.  I pride myself on my loyalty to my true friends, and knowing that I could be their voice of reason sometimes is an absolute wonder.  In high school I was very much known as the person that was friends with anyone due to my comforting/homely nature (I credit my parents for this trait), and from then on it became a passion.

To you these passions might mean absolutely nothing but I urge any 20 something year old that's going through the exact same thing as me to write down their passions and think clearly about them.  What I'll do with the above information I have no idea, however it's there for me to ponder whenever I need to.  Finally, to all other people reading this blog that find it completely irrelevant and mainly annoying I am thankful that you read the entire thing.  It means a lot to me, it truly does.  Furthermore, you know a little bit more about me!  So I guess that's something.  Anyway, here are some moments that I captured over the past week...
